Flexcon,a global provider of coatings, film laminations, and functional technologies, has announced the celebration of 50 years of business in Europe. 

Flexcon’s European presence was established in Weesp, the Netherlands, in 1974. In 1997 a manufacturing facility was opened in Glenrothes, Scotland, to better serve the European market as Flexcon expanded globally. 

“Flexcon’s presence in Europe has been a pivotal part of our global growth strategy,” shares Aimee Peacock, CEO, Flexcon. “Since establishing our first European site in Weesp, we’ve been able to serve our European customers with innovative products. Our commitment to quality, sustainability, and employee well-being has allowed us to thrive in the European market, adapting our products and processes to meet the unique needs of various industries across the continent.” 

Flexcon Europe’s history reflects the broader evolution of Flexcon Global, growing from a small operation founded in Massachusetts in 1956 to more than 12 locations globally. The goal has always been to offer exceptional customer support and the delivery of reliable products.
